Drama Teacher, Theatre Arts Teacher and Language Specialist

Caroline Palmer

I was born into the theatre industry with a ballet teacher mom who directed the story ballets on Wielie Walie. Eisteddfods and productions were a normal part of life. I started performing in Pacofs productions from a young age.

After school I moved back to my home town of Durban and freelanced as a performer. I qualified as a drama teacher and ballet teacher but teach dance fusion and performing arts. I ran the drama and arts department for 7 years at various schools and freelanced as a performer and Adjudicator. I moved to Johannesburg to be closer to my mom in 2020.

I also teach English as a second language and public speaking in schools and privately, adjudicate and give workshops to schools and corporates.

Furhtermore I can also prepare students for auditions,  interviews and IELTS.  Students are invited and welcomed to take Trinity exams.

I am also academic tutor to several students for most academic subjects. Preparation and direction for radio is available too.
